Become the Wind Beneath My Everwing

"... "Kabi-kabilang events" or speaking engagements are not the measures of success. That's really shallow.

My advice lang bro is for you to just learn to listen. Stop talking, be humble, and listen." - Carlo Ople

True. Even the busiest blogger with so many events and campaigns get them from different sources including friends, colleagues and relatives. It does not automatically mean superiority or being categorized as among the top. It only means he or she has the right, or wrong, people around him that can make things happen.

However,  I believe success could not be measured.  It cannot be quantified based on certain factors or criteria.  A father who was able to put all of his kids through school can say he is successful compared to the richest businessman in the world who's greed has kept him wanting more.

I never paused to think if I am successful or not,  because life has been a coninuous success for me. Whenever I encounter disappointments, I always anticipate something to balance it out.

Success only comes when you're satisfied with what you have achieved regardless of how high or low it is.

I cherish every moment in my life so for me every little accomplishment,  may it be baking muffins for the first time, meeting my favorite artist, or finally winning the heart of someone,  are all worthy of the recognition. Those are my successes in life that are worth remembering.

As for listening, I have no problem with it. I just don't keep quite. I actually listen intently that is why I am extra noisy as well. I cannot keep on listening when others would not do the same. It should be a two-way process.  I would keep being the voice of the meek, shy and weak to oppose the online bashers who attack people and not the issues.

The irony is, coming from someone who asks me to listen, yet he tutors me on measuring success, while others were questioning my credibility and competence. Nowhere on the discussion did I claim to be successful.  I merely pointed out that people most probably believe I am competent enough to be invited to their events,  or they simply just want their brand promoted on my site. Never bragged about being successful, but only believed in myself.

Mind you,  I listen to all. That is why I am very vocal to share what others are telling me. That is why I love blogging. That is why I love bashibg the bashers. I say no to bullying... Online or offline, you'll hear from me.

When people attack from behind,  badmouth  to others, or come up with hate threads to gang up on unsuspecting bloggers,  they just showed they can only outdo others when they play unfair.  Let the people concerned do their homework. These bashers should go back to school and learn again.

What people perceive as boasting is just a celebration of every little achievement. We are proud to share it with the whole world to inspire others to continuously love themselves and attain greater heigths. Who else should love us endearly but us. If humble means keeping on taking all the punches without retaliating,  then I refuse to be humble. We all need to flaunt our identity.  Life is just too short to waste being humble in a corner. People need to know we exist and we are great! It's called Marketing and Selling yourself. We just all differ in strategy.

Each one of us were given the heart and mind to think and love, we use it both to make better decisions. Still,  our worth is not defined by how the people around perceive us.  It is defined by how satisfied and at peace we are with ourselves.

Hey, I finally got into the Everwing game. Like life,  the start was a bit slow and surprising yet as the game progressed,  I finally git the hang if it.  Thanks to another blogger who was cheering me on and giving me tips to play the game right.

That is how you encourage others to do well.  You don't tell them they are no good,  you encourage them that they can do better.

Wazzup Pilipinas TV: Soon on IBC 13 Every Saturday at 8 PM

WazzupPilipinas.com is proud to announce that they now have a new TV show dubbed as Wazzup Pilipinas TV and it will soon be shown at IBC 13 every primetime Saturday from 8 to 9 in the evening. It is a variety infotainment lifestyle show that will be more than just an online version of the WazzupPilipinas.com blog. We believe this is the first time a blog has made it into national TV making it the first of its kind to achieve an outstanding achievement.

The creation of the TV version is truly a proud moment for its founder, Ross Del Rosario, more popularly known as the Pambansang Blogger ng Pilipinas. Ross joins a formidable team composed of Bart Abaya, the Philippine Barter King; Dave Aguila, the Common Sense Investor; Chef Tato, Halal Cooking Master, and quite a number of guest co-hosts appearing all throughout the show.

The production team has made Wazzup Pilipinas TV into a witty and intentionally humorous show to make it more appealing to a wider audience but at the same time filled with useful facts and information to educate and inform the more intellectual audience. In short, they tried their best not to make it boring. Lol!

The Wazzup Pilipinas TV show also capitalizes on using many forms of media to promote both the show and its sponsors so it is expected that the brands will receive a multitude of media mileage opportunities when they collaborate with Wazzup Pilipinas TV.

Since all of the individuals forming the production team and hosts are multi-talented and well-connected with many forms of media and social influences aside from television, all are assured that it's going to be a comprehensive promotional campaign.

WazzupPilipinas.com has definitely grown bigger and stronger even only after two years of being online. After their online media partnerships with many government agencies, brands, colleges and universities, and other organizations, your multi-awarded Pambansang Blog ng Pilipinas has indeed reached greater heights when it opened its doors to many more partnership opportunities which included content contributions to newspapers and magazines, guesting on TV and radio shows, organizing media events, advocacy programs and promotional campaigns, spearheading long-term collaborations with more brands, organizations and agencies, and a lot more activities beyond online media partnerships.

Wazzup Pilipinas TV is now in the process of taping/shooting for segments for the show's first season episodes and they would like to invite everyone to be among the very first guests/sponsors of the show to join the many brands they have already partnered with. Wazzup Pilipinas TV can also turn the sponsorship into a long-term relationship mutually-benefiting for all parties involved. They will be more than willing to come up with the best package for interested sponsors.

If you are a business owner who would like to be featured in the Wazzup Pilipinas TV show, they would be happy to schedule you for the guesting/appearance/interview as per your availability and convenience. Please let them know when you will be available by sending them your preferred date, time and meeting place.

You may email them at wazzuppilipinas@gmail.com and they will contact you asap, or call/text them at 0916 6459045 for faster communication.

We decided to change the name of the site to give it a more positive outlook on life. I guess being a "troll" was somehow negative in nature. Though we all have our share of frustrations in life and towards society, we should also credit the goodness and effort of those who deserve recognition.

Of Logos And Winners

Congratulations to Jyppe A. Quidores, creator of Logo entry no. 9 for winning the FBW Logo design contest. He just won the following: one year domain, the property rights of the logo, Filipino Bloggers Worldwide featured blogger and $45.

He was my choice and 109 other people (the other 1 vote was from the logo designer himself) and won by just a difference of one vote.

My vote + Jyppe vote + 109 other people's vote = 111 votes

Yes. A single vote was all that it took for Jyppe to win against the other leading logo design entry submitted by Ron Mia who got 110 votes. (1 vote from him and 109 votes from other people).

Racist Ads Abound

Belo, Bela and EO

What is wrong with the world today, I thought humans are suppose to have evolved into much, much, more intelligent and stronger beings, but NO, the people now are just too sensitive and easily get offended about a lot of things, politically correct, racist bullshit... It's all about the facts. There are a lot of creative ads being criticized, and people are looking at it in different levels.
