Super Duper Quickie News

No Warrant of Arrest for Abalos
For many reasons that really astounds me at this point, Noynoy Aquino is now being sold to the public by his mesmerized fans and media as "the one." The great hero whose time has come to  put every single corrupt government official in their rightful places.

However, it seems Benjamin Abalos, former COMELEC chairman, is a bit wiser than all the lawyers of the administration as he was able to temporarily elude a warrant of arrest because his lawyers filed a  very urgent motion for Judicial Determination of Probable Cause on the electoral sabotage case filed against him.

More plainly stated, the lawyers of the former Chairman are asking the RTC judge to decide for himself if probable cause exists to file electoral sabotage charges against their client. The judge, who coincidentally happens to be Judge Jesus Mupas of Pasay RTC Br. 112,  now has to dispose of that motion first before doing pretty much anything else.

I never knew such a motion existed. It seems Abalos can easily outwit us and is probably at home laughing and comfortably relaxed while playing his rubics cube thinking he would always be one step ahead of every legal action of the administration.

Desperately Needing Love

A Beauty To Rescue

Every man is desperate to have at least three things:

A battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue.

We are all probably aware that President Noynoy Aquino has all of these but one.

Actually, Aquino is the one who may need some immediate rescuing.  Although he doesn't score zero for matters of love life because of his previous relationships, I believe he desperately needs somebody intimate in his life right now..... and oh how Christmas is surely fast approaching, it would be a blessing for him to be able to spend it with a special someone.

Is the lack of a “first lady” making Aquino aggressive and somehow bitter, ...or as his detractors would say, arrogant, childish and disrespectful?, .....or did this actually made him more eager and determined to fight for the interest of the Filipino people than the previous Presidents of the country?

December 8 Is Immaculate Conception

Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated on December 8, nine months before the Nativity of Mary, which is celebrated on September 8.  It celebrates belief in the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is the patronal feast day of the Philippines and other countries, celebrated by the Roman Catholic Church as well as a few other closely related Christian churches.

The Immaculate Conception of Mary is a dogma of the Roman Catholic Church, according to which the Virgin Mary was conceived without any stain (in Latin, macula or labes, the second of these two synonymous words being the one used in the formal definition) of original sin.

It is one of the four dogmata in Roman Catholic Mariology. It is completely distinct from the Virginity of Mary and the virgin birth of Jesus, though it is a popular mistake to confuse them. Mary is sometimes called the Immaculata (the Immaculate One), particularly in artistic contexts.

Annabelle Rama VS Nadia Montenegro

War on Twitter World

There is a Twitter war going on right now between talent manager Annabelle Rama and former actress Nadia Montenegro.

Nadia Montenegro filed a child abuse case against Rama a few weeks ago. Rama was the manager of Montenegro’s two children. Their fast-escalating row began two months ago when Montenegro accused the Gutierrez matriarch of abusing her children, Alyanna and Annika, both minors who are Rama's talents. It's because of this that the former actress decided to file child abuse, oral defamation and falsification of documents cases against Rama.

Their first face-to-face encounter happened  during a clarificatory hearing held at the sala of Fiscal Liezel Aquiatan-Morales of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.

Pigs In Space : The Journey to Kepler-22B

Planet Kepler-22b

I’ve just heard from the news that NASA has just discovered a new habitable planet very similar to Earth but bigger and has a mall-like environment meaning it’s surrounding temperature is as cool as the airconditioned SM Megamall or the Ayala Malls.

This is good news because it could be another great place to hang out during summer, and if we decide to move to that planet, then we would definitely save on electricity cost because there’s no need to have our houses or business establishments airconditioned.

They called the new planet the Kepler-22b, since it was discovered by their Kepler spacecraft. The name Kepler originated from Johaness Kepler, a German mathematician, astronomer and astrologer. A key figure in the 17th century scientific revolution, who was best known for his eponymous laws of planetary motion, codified by later astronomers, based on his works Astronomia nova, Harmonices Mundi, and Epitome of Copernican Astronomy. These works also provided one of the foundations for Isaac Newton's theory of universal gravitation.

Finally, a viable alternative to our planet Earth. We should all start making lists of people who should not be allowed to remain in our planet and have a big send off party before shipping them off to Kepler-22b. I'll get it started by nominating Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, or is she still going to complain about being under “planet arrest”?

Every Gising Is A Blessing!

Every Gising Is A Blessing!

Good morning, Unkabogables na mga Kapamilya, Kapuso at Kapatid! Today is a big blessing. Actually, every gising is a blessing. I appreciate it. I won't waste it.

Woke up to quite a rather cold morning while I was somehow comfortably snug in my doona. Though I was still so sleepy, I let out a seemingly naughty smile on my face! Wait…. It's December already?! When the hell did that happen?

My wife also just woke up, the first thing that she did was to weigh herself on the scale, then jumped up and down cause she lost weight. I told her, " Good morning, and I'm happy for your loss."

Sa pagbangon kong ito ako’y dumiretso ng banyo. Umihi with the usual morning hard-on, nag-toothbrush para maalis ang foul morning breath, at naligo para muling feeling fresh. Pakiramdam ko ay sumama sa daloy ng tubig lahat ng dinala kong stress ng kahapon. At sa aking paglabas mula sa aming banyo, tila isa na naman akong bagong tao!

Abort? Abort! Our Singapore Trip!

From Twitter to Tweezer: The Mo Twister Story
DJ/TV host Mo Twister and GMA 7 artist Rhian Ramos fans have been following the love story of the two celebrities. Their close friends and most, if not everyone, of their Twitter followers knew how sweet they were toward each other before the Twitter word war took place.

A few weeks ago, Mo started to tweet and ask about the intriguing topic  of “Abortion” in his twiiter and tumblr accounts. Many were baffled after reading his posts:
November 16:

“I have a question about abortion. Should the girl ask the guy what his thoughts are and should he have a chance to stand up for the baby?” he tweeted.

November 17:

“Because no amount of inconvenience could ever justify treating the supreme creation of God with murderous contempt.”
