Perfect Match For PNoy

On the President’s Bilateral Meeting with the Prime Minister of Thailand

The President continues to pursue his agenda of fighting corruption, instituting good governance, and reducing poverty by means of inclusive growth on all fronts.  He has met with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Yingluck Shinawatra, and has engage in a dialogue on improving the investment climate in Southeast Asia, mitigating the risk of natural disasters and climate change, as well as security concerns such as the West Philippine Sea. The first official visit of PM Shinawatra to the Philippines was seen to further develop the 63-year-old strong ties that our country shares with Thailand.

The President’s continuing efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations with Thailand come at the heels of his recent discussions with delegations from the U.S. Congress. In separate meetings with American congressmen and senators, the President discussed the Philippine position on the West Philippine Sea, which was favorably received by the American lawmakers.

The fight against corruption and poverty is indivisible and multi-faceted; the push for accountability and reform in governance, and the strengthening of bilateral relationships toward increased cooperation in matters of regional and global concern, such as the economy and security, are ways in which we are pursuing our vision of a safe, progressive, and stable nation.

Shinawatra will also be remembered as the lady that caught the attention of the Presidential sister Kris Aquino.

Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra so impressed Kris that in her Twitter account  last Thursday  she said that the 44-year-old Thai leader and  the 51-year-old Mr. Aquino looked like a lovely pair.

Yingluck, who is the sister of deposed Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, was in Manila for six hours in her first official visit to the Philippines.

After the meeting between Mr. Aquino and Yingluck at the Palace, Kris tweeted: “Came from Malacañang. Lunch for Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. She’s tall & slim & attractive! 44 yrs old, bagay (a good match) for Pnoy! ”

Reactions from other Twitter users were not far behind.

But the public was more surprised hearing the news that Korean host Grace Lee and PNoy are actually dating already. Both admitted that they have been going out. Apparently, both are comfortable discussing their relationship especially Lee who has been very accommodating in entertaining the media.
